Muhammad Ashfaq, M.B; B.S, Dip Diab, MRCGP is a Visiting Professor at Jiujiang University (JJU) China since 2012. He is an international member of Royal College of General Practitioners London and is an examiner of MRCGP [INT]. Before joining JJU China, he has worked at Agha Khan University Hospital as a senior family physician. Dr. Ashfaq is a teacher, consultant family physician & a diabetologist. He is a gold medalist in diabetology and has wide experience of clinical practice for over 30 years. Throughout his career he has been involved in Continuing Medical Education and has trained thousands of medical students and postgraduates in different countries. Teaching and research are his passions. He has presented research papers in international conferences. He loves to travel and has travelled around 40 countries across the world. He enjoys cooking, spending time with family, friends and his pets.
